Floral Express is seeking one full time Financial Controller, who is accountable for the accounting and information management functions for the Company. This function encompasses maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, and the development & production of the management reporting system.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing strategic management of the accounting and finance functions
- Directing accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
- Recommending improvements to ensure the integrity of a company’s financial information
- Managing or overseeing the relationship with independent auditors
- Collaborating with chief information officers on technology decisions
- Overseeing financial systems implementations and upgrades
- Managing relationships with investors and investment institutions
- Identifying and managing business risks and insurance requirements

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 5 years (required)
- financial management: 3 years (required)
