Parallel is a Restaurant and Manufactory of Sesame butter (Tahini) located at the trendy Geary Avenue and now opening new location in Kensington Market

**This is a part-time position starting at $18.00-$20.00/hour (depending on experience) plus weekly tips.**

**Potential to move to full-time employment between both Geary and Kensington locations and offered salary ($42,000-$45,000) depending on job performance and experience.**

**Benefits offered to full-time salaried** **employees after 3 months.**

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 2+ years working as a supervisor/manager in hospitality
- 2+ years serving, bartender or barista in a fast-paced environment an asset
- Open availability
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiar with all online platform apps (Uber Eats, Skip the Dishes, DoorDash)
- Familiar with POS and payment processing systems
- Knowledge of food and bar beverages
- Experience with online reservation systems

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensure food service and quality control
- Manage employees and ensure all staff and guests are following Parallel's safety standards and guidelines
- Assist with takeout service
- Maintain cleanliness of storefront and restocking
- Answer phone, place takeout orders and book reservations
- Prepare and pack large wholesale and online shopify orders
- Engage with guests and talk about Parallel's products

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-30 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
