**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and manage construction crews to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Collaborate with project managers on budgeting and construction estimating to align resources effectively.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for project tracking and documentation.
- Train and mentor team members in best practices for safety, quality, and efficiency on the job site.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth operations throughout the project lifecycle.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics is essential.
- Familiarity with construction estimating and budgeting practices.
- Experience with quality control measures in construction projects.
- Competence in using construction management software tools such as ProCore and Bluebeam is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- construction: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- G (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (required)
