**Position Summary**

The Service Foreman is responsible to provide technical leadership of the service department and ensuring that customers receive world class quality workmanship. This position will assist with fielding customer service support calls, preparation of service quotes, supervise and complete field installations, perform site rebuilds, service and maintain equipment as required, complete warranty repairs and troubleshoot equipment performance issues for all of the company product lines and initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide leadership and technical support for the service department.
- Provide customer interface and support.
- Assist the Company in developing strong technical competency with respect to Canex products.
- Perform upfront job planning, costing and site supervision for field work.
- Keep Company ERP system up to date and invoice jobs when complete.
- Must be able to travel within Ontario for regular work and in the United States for training. The estimated amount of travel Monday through Friday is 30%-50% with some weekend travel.
- Be available for on-call support in urgent situations.
- Strong mechanical skills are required including experience with rotating equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with an ability to understand and interpret pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical drawings/schematics.
- Ensure all work is to be performed in a safe manner and in accordance with the company HSE policies.
- Ensure all employees understand and comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Clean drivers abstract must be provided at time of hire and annual driver’s abstracts are required.
- Work closely with the other departments within Canex in support of Customer Service.

**Qualifications Required**
- Journeyperson and preferably red seal certified, Millwright, Electrician, Electrical Motor Technician, Machinist or Heavy Duty Mechanic required. Five years of related experience in the field of pumps and/or compressors is an asset.
- Minimum 5 years working experience as a Journeyperson.
- Self-Driven and ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Previous Supervisor/Foreman experience an asset.
- Strong customer focus.
