**Reporting To**: Integrated Systems and Services Operations Manager

The Integrated Systems and Service Technician will be key to the success of the business and customers. This position will work together with our sales department to ensure customers receive high-quality products, quality designed monitoring systems and high-end customer service. The team will focus on building, testing, and repairing products, building, and integrating larger scale solutions. This position will also provide both on-site and remote technical support to our customers.

**Accountabilities**:

- Field sensor and datalogger programming and remote monitoring system design
- Power system design and telemetry system configuration
- Mechanical design and execution of system components specific to a client’s project requirements
- System repairs, including equipment cleaning, visual inspections, tidying/repairing/replace cables, adjusting/securing mounting hardware, etc.
- Completing basic in-office system troubleshooting.
- Updating internal facing work orders, and/or inventory data
- Coordinating with operations manager and other support staff for project preparation and execution
- Organization of required equipment and tools for project execution
- Review, understanding and completing system documentation.
- Review and/or assisting with completing in field installation or maintenance documentation.
- Assisting with completing equipment inspections.

**Required Knowledge/Skills/ Abilities**:

- Completion of a Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology or instrumentation technology from a recognized post-secondary institution
- Well-developed mechanical skills, advanced knowledge of electronics, and a basic level of technical troubleshooting for remote monitoring instrumentation
- Experience with panel design, power management design and configuration would be considered an asset
- Ability to productively manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Must have a valid drivers license with three years of driving experience and a clean 3-year abstract
- Someone who enjoys having fun and building great relationships

**Physical Demands & Working Conditions**:

- This is a combined work environment with office, light manufacturing, and outdoor field work components
- Work demands will be the determining factor in where work occurs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
