We are looking for a dynamic and results-focused **Cloud Infrastructure Systems Consultant**for our Integrated Global Services team located in **Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver or Toronto**branch**to design, develop, deploy, monitor, and manage cloud-native technology using DevOps skills and solutions.

**A Day in the Life**:

- Design, develop, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve cloud-native solutions using DevOps skills and solutions.
- Take point on development efforts required to properly enable cloud service adoption across clients
- Fulfill User Stories, Bugs, Tasks, Issues, Epics, and Features assigned to you by leaders and project managers
- Keep Leaders and Program Managers informed on progress, roadblocks, and opportunities related to assigned development efforts
- Work closely with other peers to ensure product capabilities are delivered against roadmap timelines
- Follow internal software standards in alignment with your peers and other leaders
- Participate in team sessions to shape the vision for how cloud, microservice, and emerging technologies are integrated into existing and future service offerings
- Build and maintain tools, solutions, and microservices associated with deployment and our operations platforms, ensuring that all meet our customer service standards
- Develop frameworks that are deployed across Long View to create consistency and standards for how integration technology, cloud, and tools are used
- Lead the continual service improvement activities surrounding Long View's platform technologies
- Be available to assist in resolving impacting client situations
- Reviewing code work for accuracy and functionality
- Creating and implementing design plans
- Analyzing code segments regularly

**What You Bring**:

- A minimum of 3 years experience working as a DevOps consultant
- Knowledge of software development and its technologies
- Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining microservice deployed platforms
- Strong understanding of HTTP protocol, RESTful API's, SDK's, SaaS models
- Experience working with relational databases on different technology platforms like Microsoft SQL or PostgreSQL
- Experience working with and managing code repositories
- Experience working with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub, GitLab, JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, SQL, Ansible,PowerShell, Terraform, Docker, and cloud-native technologies
- Experience working with container technologies such as Kubernetes is considered an asset
- Experience in working with Puppet or Chef for automation and configuration is considered an asset
- Experience in some or all of the following:

- Technologies such as Active Directory, HyperV, VMWare, M365,SCCM, Intune, Linux/Unix, Storage, Backups (Veeam,Cohesity,Asigra, Azure)
- Site recovery, file services (Elastifile)
- Azure Monitoring Agent
- Software defined network (SDN)
- Desire and ability to carry a mobile phone for client and/or for Long View Systems support

**What Makes You Extra Awesome**:

- Integrating business systems through message bus technology
- Open-source technologies and cloud services
- Azure cloud development, DevOps CI/CD and data analytics
