**About the Role**
We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team in Northridge, LA. This role focuses on supporting both the Test Team and the Design Team by documenting technical processes, providing valuable inputs, and assisting in project planning. The responsibilities include creating and maintaining detailed test documentation, as well as contributing to design planning and documentation efforts. While prior experience in the Medical Device Testing (MDT) domain is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with the Test Team to create comprehensive and clear test plans that meet project requirements.
- Document test execution procedures and ensure results are recorded accurately and systematically.
- Develop and maintain test traceability matrices, linking requirements to test cases and outcomes.
- Compile detailed test results documentation for project stakeholders.
- Support the Design Team by providing structured documentation, offering inputs during planning phases, and assisting in drafting design-related materials.
- Ensure all documentation is aligned with industry standards and project guidelines.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including QA engineers, designers, and project managers, to gather and interpret technical information.
- Review and revise technical documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical writing role, preferably in a technology or engineering environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Strong ability to translate technical concepts into easily understandable content.
- Experience collaborating with design and engineering teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in the Medical Device Testing (MDT) domain or familiarity with related standards and protocols.
- Understanding of QA processes, including test execution and results documentation.
Pay: Up to $120,000.00 per year
