Receptionist/administrative Assistant

**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Greet clients, visitors, and guests in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
- Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls to the appropriate lawyer or law clerk.
- Handle client inquiries and direct them to the appropriate team member.
- Assist with filing, data entry, and maintaining office organization.
- Coordinate and manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and place orders as necessary.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as light filing and data entry.
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
- Perform daily cash and check deposits.
- Complete bank runs for real estate transactions.
- Assist with catering arrangements and logistics for team meetings and events.
- Provide general administrative support to staff working remotely
**Skills**
- Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Comfortable using office equipment (e.g., phones, photocopiers, scanners) and software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Leap Legal Software).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Guelph, ON N1G 3X7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
