**Job description**

The Firm Athletica is a new boutique, personal training gym located in the heart of Kitsilano. Our values as an organization include being good humans, striving to go “far together” and being open and honest with one another. We are looking for a full-time Front Desk Associates to join our growing team. This position is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to make an impact in a new, dynamic environment.

**About You**:
A typical day in the life of a Front Desk Associate:

- Professionally and warmly greeting all members and guests
- Checking MindBody and taking attendance each and every hour; update members’ accounts as needed.
- Answering the phone and replying to messages; checking and updating the communication binder and signing off on required items.
- General cleaning and tidying of the gym and kitchen area.
- Maintaining an orderly and clean front desk area.
- Providing the highest level of customer service to members, prospective members and trainers.
- Handling any constructive feedback from the members and trainers and proactively actioning things to remedy any problems.

What you have:

- 1+ years of customer service, hospitality or front desk experience.
- High school diploma/GED required or equivalent work experience.
- Proficient with the Google Business Suite (including Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.).
- Ability to work the opening, along with the occasional Saturday if needed.
- Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position, which could include standing for long periods of time, sitting, constantly walking, squatting, stooping, reaching, and bending above and below shoulder height.
- Must be able to perform pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs at a time.
