Azalea Physiotherapy is a leading physiotherapy clinic dedicated to providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to our valued patients. Our team of experienced physiotherapists, Kinesiologist, Chiropractors, and Acupuncturists is committed to helping individuals achieve optimal health and wellness. We are currently seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join us as an Office Manager/Front Desk Receptionist.
As the Office Manager/Front Desk Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming and efficient environment. Additionally, you will manage administrative tasks to support the clinic's overall functioning.
**Responsibilities**:
Front Desk Operations:
- Greet and assist patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Answer and direct phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries.
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area.
- Good Communication and writing skills
Patient Registration and Records:
- Collect and input patient information accurately into the electronic medical records system (Clinicmaster)
- Verify insurance information and process necessary documentation (BlueCross, Canada Life, Greenshields, WorkSafe BC, ICBC, etc.)
Appointment Scheduling:
- Coordinate and Schedule Appointment for practitioners
- Coordinate ICBC & WSBC treatment deadlines and extensions
- Send Appointment Reminders and manage cancellations or reschedules.
Billing & Payments:
- Process billing information and manage patient payments.
- Work closely with insurance providers like ICBC and WSBC to ensure accurate and timely claims processing.
- Ensure refused/rejected claims get resubmitted or fixed on a timely manner
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative assistant to practitioners ensuring ICBC and WSBC patients are approved
- Sanitization of treatment beds after patients have used them.
- Fostering a positive environment to patients
- Handle Patients concerns in a professional and timely manner
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a front desk or office management role.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures and insurance verification.
- Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems (Experience with Clinicmaster preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of physiotherapy or healthcare industry is a plus.
- Experience with ICBC and WSBC billing is a plus
How to apply:
Pay: $20.00 per hour
