We are looking for a motivated production manager to join our team and be responsible for running our evening shift on the bottling lines, managing all staff and achieving the production targets.

**As a Production Manager you will**:

- Operate process equipment within the SOP scope, maintaining accuracy and productivity standards.
- Liaise with the maintenance technician on shift regarding any repairs or functional problems.
- Visual checks on all raw materials, equipment and finished goods to ensure compliance and for quality control.
- Monitor water fill height and maintain fill weights according to specifications.
- Assign duties to all process area workers and supervise the team as needed.
- Comply with all PPE and Health & Safety requirements.
- Complete necessary paperwork related to the job and update daily logs.
- Communicate with the larger team regarding any quality issues and progress on production targets.
- Ensure process area is kept clean and tidy, delegating any janitorial duties as needed.
- All other duties as required.

**What will make you successful**:

- 3 years of relevant work experience on a high speed bottling beverage line.
- Leadership skills and experience in managing a small team.
- Ability to maintain a working relationship with coworkers and subordinates.
- Knowledge of good manufacturing practices.
- Able to use your initiative to problem solve any non conformance issues that may arise.
- Available for shift work.
- Able to read, write and communicate in English, with comprehension.
- Disciplined and reliable.

**More about this role **
- Work schedule - Monday to Friday 4pm to 12.30am with variance.
- Full time hours with the possibility of overtime.
- Permanent position following the completion of a probationary period.
- Training period of up to 6 weeks to take place during the daytime shift.
- Required to be in a standing position for the full shift - breaks provided per the legal guidelines.
- You may engage in frequent bending, stooping or squatting.
- You must be able to lift up to 30kg
- Exposure to variations in temperature or humidity may occur.
- Must be able to commute daily to our facility in East York.
