**We are looking to add an Accounts Payable Administrator to our team**

**Position Title**: Accounts Payable Administrator

**Reports to**:Corporate Controller

**Department**:Finance & Accounting

**Work Location**:Leduc, Alberta office

**Position Summary**

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Accounts Payable Administrator has broad-based experience across all facets of accounts payable, with significant knowledge of best business practices in the use of purchase orders, processing of invoices, administration of employee expenses, initiation of payments, and management of vendor relationships, as well as the setup and maintenance of accounts payable systems to facilitate all of these. The Accounts Payable Administrator will act as the main support to the Accounts Payable Specialist and is integral in helping the organization meet its strategic initiatives and commitments by providing a key link between external vendors and internal stakeholders.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of vendor and employee data.
- Support daily invoice processing vendor payments process
- Process employee expense reports and reimbursements
- Ensure queries from internal stakeholders and vendors are addressed daily
- Responsible for the validity, completeness, and accuracy of the AP subledger and assigned vendor reconciliations
- Lead the vendor set up process for SAGE 300 including EFT documentation
- Assist in the month end close AP process as is required
- Assist employees with accounts payable and EFT processes and policies.
- Ensure the highest level of professional communication and service to vendors, employees, and business partners.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Physical Requirements**
- Long periods of sitting, data entry, computer work for extended periods. You are responsible to work in a safe and proper manner utilizing Workplace Ergonomics to avoid injury to oneself and to others.

**Work Environment**
- This position is on-site at our Leduc, Alberta office

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in accounting or business administration.
- Ability to maneuver effectively in a fast-paced, high-functioning environment, while prioritizing and delivering multiple requests at the same time.
- Highly developed emotional intelligence with a successful track record for professionally developing and leveraging relationships across an organization.
- High integrity with ability to maintain confidentiality and manage highly sensitive information.
- Ability to remain objective and maintain a factual perspective when dealing with questions and inquiries
- Ability to work within a team environment but also independently as required.
- Detail orientated with the ability to write clearly, accurately, and concisely.
- Customer service orientation
- Proficiency with MS Office, including MS Excel.
- Experience with Sage 300 is an asset.
- Experience with integrated accounts payable systems is an asset.
