We are looking for a responsible, energetic & personable Operations Assistant / Concierge to be the rock of our team Our company has experienced tremendous growth over the past couple of years, so this will be a constantly evolving position that will continue to grow as we grow

You will be the face of our office locations, sitting at our Concierge desk located in the Delta Hotels Grand Okanagan Resort through the summer, and will enjoy helping walk-in guests and managing our concierge desk. Through the winter, you will be based at our Kiosk Location in the arrivals area at Kelowna Airport and be our primary dispatch person for airport & ski shuttles.

This position will include **weekend **shifts.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the Concierge Desk including walk-in guest inquiries, assist with guest requests and be knowledgeable of what is happening in Kelowna (events & activities).
- Be the point of contact for industry partners (wineries, wedding planners, wholesalers, etc.)
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Handle dispatch phone calls for Airport Shuttles & Company Drivers
- Manage our two online booking systems
- Organize daily operations itineraries for the team and understand the full flow of the day, where drivers are (using GPS tracking), and monitor flight delays, making adjustments as needed.
- Daily bookkeeping tasks and assisting in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Assist with social media & marketing activities
- Update and maintain company policies and procedures
- Other projects as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
- Ability to learn new Online Software Booking Systems
- Proficient knowledge of Kelowna & the Okanagan Valley
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and be adaptable to last minute changes
- High School degree required
- Additional experience in customer service and/or working in the Tourism Industry, would be an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
