**Machine Operator**

This position involves a Monday to Thursday schedule with 10-hour shifts rotating every 2 weeks between days (5:00 AM to 3:30 PM) and afternoons (3:30 PM to 2:00 AM), with possible overtime.

**Primary Duties**:

- Setting up manufacturing equipment for daily use
- Maintaining equipment and machinery for safe operation
- Training and overseeing other employees on specialty machines
- Maintaining the understanding of operating procedures for the machines
- Proposing improvements to the process or machines as required
- Reporting safety hazards within the work environment
- Record and report production metrics for each production run.
- Lead alongside of Production Associates in completion of duties
- Assist in the process improvements to increase line efficiencies.
- Clean certain components of the production line per direction of the Shift Lead.
- Continuously check quality of final product and report product flaws
- Follows Company Safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance requirements in a timely manner to Shift Lead.
- Additional duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Ability to plan, organize, multi-task, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the OHSA, machine safeguarding and safety procedures
- Strong listening and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to ever-changing environment.
- Understanding of PLC’s and automated equipment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- High Initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, accountability, reliability and strong leadership qualities.
- The ability to remain calm in a fast paced, high-volume environment.

Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour
