**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Manage daily operations of the quarry, ensuring efficient extraction and processing of materials.
- Oversee staff management, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Develop and implement operational plans to optimize production and reduce costs.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate logistics and supply chain activities.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory levels, and equipment usage.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
**Skills**
- Proficient in operating forklifts and other heavy machinery used in quarry operations.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues effectively.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred but not required.
- Valid commercial driving license is a plus for transportation needs within the site.
- Ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders to foster a collaborative work environment.
