**The Role**
Accurate Network Services Inc. is on the hunt for a Field Support Technician (also known as an Implementation Analyst in our world) to join our team in our Edmonton office. The person we envision for this role has strong technical abilities, is comfortable working onsite, and is good at crushing tasks independently. Implementation Analysts are the “doers” of the Project Team and work closely with Project Managers; we count on them to prevent future helpdesk issues by improving our clients’ technical environments.
As an Implementation Analyst at Accurate, you will work with a technical team to service all Accurate’s clients. We use Autotask to track tickets and time worked, and we’ll provide ample training on how the mechanics of the system work.
This is a full-time position with some after-hours and weekend work required. Regular work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, but your schedule can vary based on client needs. You will be required to take part in an on-call rotation to respond to client after-hours emergency calls (approximately one week every 18 weeks).
**The Responsibilities**
What does each day look like in the life of an Accurate Implementation Analyst? This role is a mix of onsite and office work with a high degree of variability as you manage the following tasks:
1. Execute project tasks on multiple projects for multiple clients
- Updating documentation
- Collaborating with vendors during upgrades and migrations
- Maintaining a high level of communication with Project Managers
- Performing proactive site visits and acting as “custodian” for those environments
- Completing onsite technology deployments (PCs, networking equipment, etc.)
2. Additional Initiatives and Projects
- Providing support to other teams as required
- Out-of-town travel as necessary
3. Collaborate with your Team
- Participate in Team Huddles, monthly Accountability Meetings, quarterly 1:1s, Bonus Planning, and Annual Career Planning sessions
**The Qualifications**
We’re looking for a Tier 2 Implementation Analyst with the following qualifications and traits:
1. Has a minimum 2 years’ experience:
- Providing either remote and/or deskside IT support
- Administrating and troubleshooting Windows 10/11 devices
- Administrating and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
- Administrating and troubleshooting Printers and SMTP settings
- Troubleshooting Network issues
2. You excel at planning and seeing-through tasks to the finish line and take pride in things being “done right”
3. You are excellent at communicating with clients and vendors
4. You have strong problem-solving/investigative skills
5. You have the ability to lift at least 30 lbs (this role does require some physicality—carrying boxes, racking servers, wiring switches, etc.)
6. You have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (mileage and relevant expenses related to onsite work will be reimbursed)
**Why Work Here?**
We offer competitive salaries, health and wellness benefits (including a health spending account), a fitness allowance, and flexible hybrid work options—but so do a lot of other companies.
What makes Accurate stand out from the herd?
- We value your personal and professional growth—we offer generous professional development allowances, and you’ll have the opportunity to grow upwards in your career
- You’re not a cog in a giant, immoveable, unthinking machine—be a part of a company where your voice is valued and your ideas can be put into motion
- Life’s too short to work with people you dislike—we focus on building a diverse crew of good and talented people, and we stay connected through social events worth writing home about
