Client Services- Hotel Housekeeping Lead Hand

The **Residence Corporation is seeking HOTEL Housekeeping LEAD HAND- Client Services** who is passionate about providing exceptional service and who can demonstrate compassion for clients of the Residence. **We are looking for a Full Time Hotel Housekeeping Lead Hand for our client services team**.

**The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to**:

- Responsible for all procurement requirements at the Residence Corporation. The responsibilities range from sourcing products, quotes and entering items into oracle to processing payment approvals with accounting team.
- Will work closely with the Residence Corporation Manager, Supervisor, Building Operations and our Lead Coordinator on all special projects and take the lead when required.
- Responsible for working with our Client Service attendants’ team in assigning daily housekeeping workloads. Team of 4
- Completing room inspections to company standards, monthly inventory counts and logging all lost and found items.
- Ensuring all public space is cleaned and support in house laundry when required.
- **When required;** In the absents of our Client Liaison and lead Coordinator the Lead hand will be tasked with all responsibilities for this roll, including all guest room bookings, receiving client payments, processing refunds if applicable and issuing payment receipts.
- Responsible for coordinating and redirecting any client requests associated with the client’s accommodations. While in this roll they will function as the central contact and information resource to support business operations within the Residence as it relates to providing excellent client service.
- The individual will be the first point of contact for clients of the Residence Corporation and as such must interact in a professional manner and demonstrate outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

**What you will bring**:

- Certificate, diploma or degree in hospitality or related business equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping or related function.
- Minimum 1 years of experience using a Reservation/Client Booking software within a hospitality or hospital/nursing home/retirement residence environment.
- Computer literate
- Microsoft office suite - Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong base of knowledge supplemented with experience in the hospitality industry
- Outstanding Communication and Interpersonal skills and ability to interact with clients in a positive manner
- Ability to navigate clients through the booking process and orient them to the accommodations once on site
- Self-starter who takes initiative and provides helpful and courteous service
- Customer focus supplemented with demonstrated skills in providing service excellence
- Demonstrates empathy and compassion for clients who may be experience difficult life situations

**Language Requirements**:
**Job Type**: Full Time, Permanent (75 hours bi-weekly)

Salary Range: $28.00- 30.31 per hour

Pay: $28.00-$30.31 per hour
