_**Begonia Bakehouse,**_is a French inspired artisan bakery.

We are currently seeking an experienced individual who is interested in learning and expanding their experience. We are seeking an independently motivated individual who can work from a prep list while ensuring all timelines are met by working collaboratively with the team. Good time management and communication skills are a must.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Assist with making croissants
- Assist with prep for pastries, this would include making jams, custards, prepping fruit and other ingredients as required
- Assist and collaborate with the team on weekly special croissants
- Early morning production, baking all bread and pastries, would be trained once the individual has become comfortable with the flow of the bakery
- Assist with bread production and other duties as required
- Properly and safely use all equipment (Mixer, Oven, etc.)
- Communicate effectively with other team members ensuring timelines are met.
- Assist with ensuring the bakery is tidy and clean at all times, this would include jumping in dish, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning machinery and countertops when required

**To join our team, you’ll need**:

- Ability to read and follow recipe directions
- Ability to complete recipe calculations
- Ability to work an early morning shift, when required
- Possess excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to self-manage and problem solve
- Ability to meet daily production requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Cleanliness
- Able to lift 20kg repeatedly and able to stand for full shift

**Education**:
Formal baking training is an asset.

**Experience**:

- Baking of croissant pastries and bread.

**Days and Hours of Work: Full Time - Five Days per Week.** Wednesday - Sunday.

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
