**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
McDougall Energy is looking for a** Credit Manager **to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Corporate Credit Manager, the Credit Manager supports the collection process, including monitoring accounts for compliance, reviewing and investigating all past due accounts and contacting customers regarding collection of outstanding payments to minimize outstanding debt, while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee the daily duties of Credit Representatives.
- Ensure knowledge and compliance of the Company’s credit policies.
- Review and approve credit terms for new customers.
- Communicate with customers regarding past due balances.
- Prepare and submit monthly credit reports and statistics to Corporate Credit Manager.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement to the credit process by enhancing efficiencies, reducing costs or improving revenue/margins.
- Interface, communicate, and coordinate activities with any other departments and personnel as necessary.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Post-secondary Diploma or Degree in Business or related field with three (3) to five (5) years of progressive credit management experience
- Sound lending and credit knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand third party credit reports
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle large volumes of data, with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to effectively prioritize a significant workload
- Advanced Microsoft Office and excel skills; ERP experience an asset
