We are looking to add a **Permanent Full-Time** **Payroll Assistant **to join our Corporate Payroll team in Winnipeg, MB.

Reporting to the Manager, Payroll & Benefits, the **Payroll Assistants **role will work with the Payroll team to meet deadlines and process payroll accurately and on time. This position is responsible to receive and process trip jackets & timecards, manage incoming and outgoing mail, keep track of hours of service for drivers, order supplies, maintaining files and other duties as assigned.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in the office.
- Post-Secondary education and/or experience in Payroll and/or Administration is an asset. _Willingness to take related training/courses is a must for this role. _
- Experience in an administrative office environment and/or customer service is an asset
- Strong people skills working with 3rd party providers and collaborating with team members
- Experience working with Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and ability to learn new software
- Excellent time management and organizational skills in handling volume of work, changing demands and various source of information
- High degree of accuracy and attention to details
- Knowledge of payroll processes is a definite asset
