The Channel Account Executive will have key account ownership - solve challenges, establish relationships for maintaining customer long term satisfaction; determine future product needs as defined by customer & propose viable solutions. Work will be done primarily independently and within team collaboration groups.

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Engagement & management of Key and Reseller Accounts**
- Organize and manage action plans for challenges to provide resolution and development of evolving customer initiatives.
- Identify strategic accounts & develop channel relationships by providing solutions and market expertise.
- Account management - identify future product needs and market trends as defined by customer to propose viable solutions and roadmap for management consideration
- Seek and develop relationships with ISV partners & manage channel for results
- Deeply understand and present star value proposition over the competition.
- Establish industry relationships and partnerships for long term success
- Support accounts with demo units as applicable; Follow through with both sales & technical support.
- Validate, prepare & submit special price requests (SND) as needed to support accounts; Negotiate necessary meet-comp pricing with management to secure closure of projects.
- Issue quotes to support approved pricing.
- Participate in industry events/trade shows promoting and selling solutions applicable to the appropriate markets and present company professionally and ethically.

**Internal Communication and Reporting**:

- Engage in regular communication with Channel Partner Executives (CPE) for support that is needed from distribution as it relates to reseller account development
- Routine sales analysis of relevant data to determine revenue, product results, and slip/gain activity of key accounts and resellers
- Vigilantly maintain product knowledge and education of implementation and design needed as it pertains to the various vertical market solutions and trends
- Prepare professional product and technology presentations to inform and educate customers on technical and business benefits of proposed Star Micronics’ solutions.
- Salesforce administration management for accounts - Frequent updates
- Ensure all action items are completed promptly following client visits.
- Maintain adherence to travel policy requirements as well as timely submission of all travel expenses
- Participation in sales queue (when needed) - process sales inquiries and qualify callers to develop channel leads; entering activity into salesforce
- Uphold all Star Micronics America policies.
- Other duties as assigned.

**SKILLS**:

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional publications, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from groups of managers, employees, vendors, government agents, and the general public; ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- High reasoning and analytical skills with an ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions for solutions.
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Skills must include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Stellar written, oral and presentation skills with the ability to discuss highly technical concepts to a variety of audiences, including executive level technical decision-makers
- Demonstrated technical experience, especially with networking and working on various operating systems and cloud-based technologies.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical sales role. Preferably within POS Technology vertical.

**TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS**:

- 30-45% travel as necessary in support of new business efforts and related activities (domestic and international locations possible)
- Must maintain valid Driver’s License and Passport in Country of Residence

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
