You love a startup environment and getting your hands dirty while building out a team and processes to enable hyper-growth. **The Job** Reporting to the Head of Marketing, our Head of Lifecycle & Customer Marketing will be responsible for driving improvements across our funnel and customer lifecycle. You'll own the customer lifecycle and journey and partner with marketing, product, growth, and sales to drive improvements in acquisition, activation, monetization, and upsell. You'll set the strategy, optimize our existing channels, test new channels, own the results, and build out a team to rapidly grow our adoption and retention. You will ultimately help customers discover and get value from our product. **Responsibilities** - Own the customer journey and lifecycle within marketing - understand all the touchpoints and how to pull the right levers to drive user behaviors. - Outline craft and vision of Lifecycle Marketing at Homebase including but not limited to operations, technology and measurement - Partner with product marketing and data science to deliver the right message, to the right customer, at the right time - Partner with marketing, product, growth, sales, and support to build and execute programs to improve business metrics and the customer experience - Partner with data, engineering, marketing, and growth teams to accurately track and attribute the impact of campaigns - Test, learn, optimize, operationalize. Basically, figure out what works to drive growth for Homebase and scale it. - Bring thought-leadership in all things relating to lifecycle marketing - Manage a high-performance team of direct reports - currently 1 direct report with opportunity to grow as we grow through a hypergrowth trajectory **Qualifications** - 6+ years experience in lifecycle or customer marketing or related roles - Experience managing direct reports - Ability to set goals and strategy and coach a team to achieve - Scrappiness. You have a desire to be hands-on, get in the weeds, do the work, dive into the data, experiment iteratively and learn quickly - An understanding of key elements of acquisition, activation, engagement and retention strategies, including customer journeys, lifecycle marketing (CRM), marketing automation and the metrics impacted - Experience at a hyper-growth company, in either SMB, prosumer or consumer space, SaaS experience a bonus. - Strong preference: Experience with subscription/SaaS, self-serve and freemium models. - Performance-driven, deeply analytical, comfortable deriving insights and questions from ambiguous datasets - Understanding of best practices in design, copy, and creative for effective campaigns - Comfortable with experimentation design (A/B testing methodology, statistical significance) - Experience implementing new tools, making sure data is flowing, and ensuring proper tracking and attribution - Proven success in working cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Growth, Data Science, Engineering, and Sales, to create and execute against shared goals - Ability to juggle multiple projects at once and not lose track of the details. - Passion for delivering great experiences to customers, helping them find the right solutions for their needs **What We Offer You** - Stock Options - everyone is an owner - Comprehensive medical coverage for you and your eligible dependents - premiums 100% paid by Homebase - RRSP plan +4% company match - Remote, hybrid, and in-office work options - Top-of-the-line equipment and $$ to customize your home office - Company paid holidays and 20 days accrued PTO per year - A dynamic, well-connected, productive team - Fun company activities - At Homebase, we value our differences, and we encourage all to apply.
