We are seeking an Accounts Clerk to join our company based in Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver, located on an express transit route or just off Highway #1. - Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Reconcilation experience - Exceptional attention to detail - Strong organizational and time management skills - Strong communication skills both written and verbal - The capability to be an energetic self-starter who initiates and anticipates needs - The ability to creatively solve problems, make decisions, facilitate and manage deadlines - A "can do" attitude with the willingness to learn - The ability to work both independently and within a small team **Duties**: - Reviewing and entering accounts payable invoices - General bank and Visa reconciliations - Preparing and processing cheques and payments - Paying suppliers by Visa or cheques - Data entry, spreadsheets, records, and filing - Accounts collections - Other duties as required, including providing coverage support for the accounting team during absences and vacation **Qualifications**: - A minimum of 2 years accounting experience (required) - Sage 50 Quantum Accounting, 1 year (preferred) - Exceptional technical skills with Excel - The ability to work in the office Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
