**DESCRIPTION** **OF** **THE** **POSITION**:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team whose responsibility is to be the conduit of information and donor support to and from the Hospital for Sick Children.

The Coordinator, Granting and Hospital Relations is responsible for providing administrative support to the members of the Granting and Hospital Relations team. This role will be critical in ensuring Foundation and Hospital staff have the tools they need to fundraise effectively and ensure that donor dollars are used for the purposes intended. The Coordinator, Granting and Hospital Relations will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as supporting meetings, data management, project schedules, and grant requests. This role reports directly to the Director, Hospital Relations and Granting.

**Required Skills**:
**YOU** **WILL**:

- Provide support to meetings and training sessions with Hospital personnel and fundraisers. You will schedule meetings, manage agendas and minutes, confirm attendance, and arrange technology for training sessions;
- Pull data from various systems to populate analytic reports and schedules on a weekly basis. Perform data entry as necessary relating to fundraising, external grants, and coding adjustments;
- Manage project schedules and progress against team goals and deadlines;
- Manage the team’s intranet page;
- Support the annual fundraising priority setting process;
- Attend and support weekly meetings to assist with donor stewardship;
- Ensure team members are aware of approaching deadlines, outstanding tasks, and unfavorable analytic results on a weekly basis;
- Carry out first-line grant review for a portfolio of funds and assist other team members with same during peak periods and vacations;
- Submit recurring grants for approval and process external grant payment requests;
- Compile new gift summaries including supporting pledge payment schedules;
- Additional office duties and project assistance as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Post-secondary certificate/diploma with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in administrative and/or fundraising positions;
- Proficient with MS365, Word, and Outlook with a willingness to learn new computer programs;
- Advanced Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUP;
- Knowledgeable of Blackbaud Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or other equivalent fundraising platforms and CRM database systems;
- Highly analytical with a client-oriented service background;
- Ability to work independently;
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and functionality;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; and
- Strong sense of confidentiality and working with highly sensitive information;
