Acquafarina is one of the newer high-end restaurants in Vancouver's culinary scene. Our team is made up of professionals who are hard-working, team orientated individuals. We are motivated & self-driven to be the best. We just got recognized in the Michelin Guide as the place to go. We're looking for someone who is polished and has a positive demeanour. Someone that wants to grow with an expanding company. Someone who has worked at least 5yrs as a bartender in fine dining restaurants. Understands what that entails. The food and drinks we offer and service we give, is a part of the journey to our story. We want someone who believes in communication, teamwork and punctuality. We love the professional and positive attitude that our team has and we want someone who fits in and adds to it. No drama. We run a small team here that TIP POOLS, so accountability and reliability are necessary. Someone who brings their " A Game" each and every shift. They want to get better and encourage their fellow co-workers to do the same. We need someone who understands true guest hospitality and what it entails. Possesses a strong knowledge of food & beverage service & takes great pride in their work. Someone who holds themselves to a higher standard. Someone with passion and heart They add to the team Our biggest asset is our people. Without them, we cannot run a successful business. We'd love to hear from you. **POSITION REQUIREMENTS**: - Available evenings & some days - We are open Tuesdays-Saturdays 3pm-10pm for dinner service & from 11:30am-3pm Thursday-Fridays for lunch service (we are closed Sundays & Mondays) - Must be able to work full time (min 4shifts) **MUST have at least 5yrs service knowledge and experience in a FINE DINING establishment (ALL our bartenders take turn serving small floor sections) - Must have at least 5yrs bartender experience in a FINE DINING establishment - Must have knowledge of cocktails, bar service (we are heavy on cocktails especially classic ones) We have a very busy bar / cocktail program. - Must be a team player & function well under stress - Must be eligible to work in Canada - Must live downtown Vancouver or very close to downtown by transit **Requirements**: - VALID Serving It Right - Squirrel knowledge is a bonus - VALID SIN # or an UPDATED SIN # - BONUS: Wine knowledge and certification (ex. WSET, CMS, CAPS, ISG) would be an asset
