**The employment opportunity - Law Clerk**:
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Law Clerk for our real estate department. In this role, you will work as part of a team dedicated towards managing real estate files, including but not limited to purchases, sales, and mortgage refinances.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Being able to perform administrative duties such as opening a file and instructing the bookkeeper on funds.
- Performing title searches, reviewing parcel pages, and preparing requisitions for lawyer review.
- Communicating effectively with other parties such as real estate agents, mortgage brokers, insurance brokers, clients, and other lawyers and law clerks.
- Preparing real estate files for lawyer signings.
- Reviewing documents once signed and preparing requests for funds and closing packages.
- Reviewing documents such as IDs, insurance binders, etc.
- Preparing instruments for preparation for lawyer review and signatures and registering the same.
- Preparing reporting letters for lawyer review.
- Reviewing work for quality, accuracy, and relevance.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Knowledge of Cosmolex, Unity, Teraview, Teranet, Microsoft Office, especially Word, Teams and Outlook, and Adobe reader.
- Law Clerk Diploma and/or University Degree is considered an asset.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in area of real estate law.
- Time management and file management skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple files on the go.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to relate to people at all levels. Fluency in Polish and Spanish, while not required, is an asset.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to privacy and ethical conduct.
