Canadian Choice Wholesalers’ head office currently has an opening for a part-time Administrative Assistant, working 24 hours per week.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Provide administrative support to Operations Manager;
- Prepare and verify shipping/receiving documentation;
- Process and input customer invoices and credits in Warehouse Management System (WMS), evaluate and respond to customer inquiries in a prompt, courteous and effective manner;
- Eliminate reoccurring issues, minimize service issues, and identify areas for improvement;
- Provide product & service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information;
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Operations Manager;
- Review, categorize, and organize invoices sent to us by other companies’
- Organization and maintenance of incoming paper and electronic files;
- Preparing reports, as requested, for the Warehouse Operations Manager and outside vendors.
- is organized, methodical and highly detail oriented;
- has advanced Microsoft Excel skills - proficiency in Microsoft Access would be an asset;
- is engaging and friendly, with an unfailingly good attitude;
- has excellent oral and written communication skills;
- is able to exercise tact, discretion and good judgement;
- is resourceful and has the ability to problem solve independently;
- is adaptive and willing to take on multiple tasks at once;
- has data entry experience.
A post-secondary degree or a diploma would be considered an asset.
Our office is located in the Tilbury area, so the position is ideally suited to someone who lives in Delta, Surrey or Langley who would like to avoid a lengthy commute.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: $19.00 per hour
