Manager, Solution Development

SGI is transforming We’re embracing agility and redefining our approach to technology. Using a cutting-edge way of delivering software and a modern tech stack, we're rebuilding the SGI Auto Fund with an innovative event-driven distributed system.

We’re currently seeking a permanent, full-time Manager, Solution Development to join our transformation journey in either Regina or Saskatoon.

We are committed to building and continually evolving our technology stack which presently includes:

- Microservice architecture adhering to Domain Driven Design and leveraging Event Sourcing.
- Using an agile methodology and Azure DevOps for tracking work.
- C# /.NET6 APIs.
- React Front End with TypeScript using Jest for testing.
- Test Automation wherever possible.
- Extensive automation using Azure Pipelines and Git.
- Using Azure services for database technologies, monitoring, and identity
- Are a champion of agile practices.
- Are skilled in planning and facilitating the technical product development life
- Have a desire to constantly learn new and different ways of doing things.
- Can adapt to changing work environments, work priorities and organizational needs.
- Possess the skills to enable effective collaboration with stakeholders and technical knowledge to deliver solutions that enable the vision for a modern environment.
- Want to leverage your leadership skills for good - like actively supporting SGI’s culture, expanding your own learning, and supporting your team as they do the same.

Typically, these skills are gained through a **four-year degree in** a relevant field of study, such as **Information Technology, Mathematics & Applied Science or Business** and **eight years’ experience comprised of four years of leadership and four years’ experience as a leader or project manager in the design and delivery of large systems to support business operations. **But we don’t want you to worry about checking every box Leave the screening to us.
