PART-TIME CAREGIVER

Male quadriplegic living downtown is looking to hire a Part-Time Caregiver that can handle an early morning bathroom routine, housekeeping and meal preparation, shopping and errands, as well as a range of assisted fitness activities and massage.

CURRENTLY INTERVIEWING FOR THE FOLLOWING:

- One or two regular morning personal care shifts starting as early as 6 AM on Sundays and Mondays beginning August 24. Two days of training will be provided on August 22 and 23.
- Emergency back-up for 6AM morning personal care Wednesdays and Thursdays.

FUTURE POSSIBILITIES:

- More regular morning personal care shifts.
- Exercise sessions ~10AM 3-5 days per week.
- Evening personal care and massage 9PM - 11PM.
- Shopping, errands, and other homemaking tasks as needed.
- Cooking and meal preparation as needed.
- Travel with client for business/vacation.
- Shifts are 2-4 hours paid at $25 an hour. This position is ideally suited for someone looking to pick up extra hours on their way to another job or for someone who is looking to gain some Health related work experience.

YOU MUST BE
- Open-minded and non-judgmental
- Comfortable with the body and all of its functions
- Absolutely reliable and punctual
- Detail oriented
- Non-smoking
- Not allergic to cats
- Within a 30 minute commute to the Main Street skytrain station
- Experience is an asset but not a requirement.
