**Job Summary**

We are looking for a Cantonese-speaking part-time Caregiver and Companion for our senior parents on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays Evenings 6PM to 9PM (total of 12 hours) to start as soon as possible.

Requirements: minimum 2 years of caregiving experience with an associate degree and/or equivalent experience. While senior parents are Cantonese speakers, applicants must also speak English and have legal authorization to work in Canada. We do not offer visa sponsorships.

Dad has early stages of Alzheimer’s. We are looking for someone who is very patient, communicates well with a good sense of humour to engage with dad in conversation and encourage mental well-being. Responsibilities: assist with personal hygiene including dressing and grooming, medication reminders, simple meal prep and cooking, turning on TV and Youtube, light housekeeping duties, and laundry.

Mom has atypical Parkinson's and is disabled. We only ask that you monitor her from time to time as needed and massage stiff muscles as needed.

Previous work references are required. First Aid and CPR required. Recent police criminal check required. Looking for commitment of at least one year or more. Please submit resume and cover letter.
