**Job description**

Marin Construction & Renovation is seeking an apprentice to join out team. We are a fast paced renovation company the specialize in custom home renovations and additions.

The following will be REQUIRED for consideration
- Knowledge of basic carpentry tools
- First Aid training (up to date certificate)
- Vulnerable Sector check to be provided prior to starting
- Reliable vehicle that is highway ready
- Completed at least your first year of apprenticeship program
- Able to be on time and organized
- Able to assist with heavy lifting when required

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist experienced carpenters in various construction projects
- Learn and develop skills in carpentry techniques, including measuring, cutting, and installing materials
- Assist with the construction and installation of frameworks, structures, and fixtures
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively

**Experience**:

- Previous experience or knowledge in carpentry is required
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new tasks and techniques
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take direction from experienced carpenters

Please note that this position is an apprentice role, designed for individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills in the carpentry field. Training will be provided by experienced carpenters on the job.

**Salary**: $22.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
