**Overview**

Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this position is responsible for managing, developing and training people along with developing procedures that will enhance an existing training program by improving training manuals, visual aids, etc.

The Corporate Trainer’s main responsibility is supporting each individual franchisee and their restaurant from its beginning stages while still properly representing the Eggsmart brand and culture. Each Trainer contributes to the company’s success by developing and implementing corporate and franchise initiatives to support Eggsmart objectives.

This position is responsible for implementing all training initiatives including, but not limited to, on-site training of new restaurant openings, training Franchise Business Partners and their leaders, editing and developing training materials and contributing to ongoing organizational development. The training function will include complete introduction to Eggsmart standards and procedures for franchise owners, designated managers, Front of House (FOH) leads, Back of House (BOH) leads and their staff.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Assist in the creation and development of training material for all stages and aspects of restaurant operations
- Establish and implement short
- and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
- Take initiative in creating, leading, and encouraging efficiency through new or refined procedures.
- Demonstrating leadership qualities, especially in training situations.
- Working closely with franchise owners, management teams, and employees of different experience and skill
- Learning and enforcing all recipes, kitchen procedures, and policies.
- Define training needs and develop standardized training for owners, management teams, and employees of new and existing corporate or franchise locations.
- Establish day-to-day training operations including coordinating training and delivery of materials.
- Coach employees and identity areas of improvement.
- Conduct field training programs that include calibration and remediation of existing restaurants.

**ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:
Undergraduate degree and/or 3 plus years of retail or restaurant training operation experience

Kitchen management or Teaching experience preferred

Ability to travel up to 50%

INTERNAL/EXTERNAL INTERACTION:
Corporate Franchise Operations Trainers need to have the capacity to interact with a wide variety of internal and external positions across a broad spectrum of functional areas.

Interaction with all levels of employees in the Corporate Office and in the field is REQUIRED.

Must be capable of interacting externally with vendors, applicants, etc.
