Playground is rapidly expanding and is currently seeking an experienced, full time Corporate Trainer to lead our Learning & Development efforts.

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Corporate Trainer will help our employees further develop knowledge and skills in areas such as guest service training and role/department specific instruction and coaching. The goal as the Corporate Trainer will be to conduct meaningful and informative training sessions, support efficiencies, and refine the skills of all our Playground Team Members.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct inter-departmental needs assessment to determine training needs.
- Plan, build and implement an effective training curriculum for Playground’s many departments (develop content, build presentations, etc.)
- Create and maintain e-learning/training programs that drive business outcomes for all lines of business to include gaming, hotel, F&B, and retail.
- Work with our external training providers to build meaningful, casino-specific training programs (Guest Service Training, etc.)
- Work with the executive team to build a training program to coach and mentor our managers in leadership and management techniques.
- Develops training manuals, training procedures, and training course materials
- Implement training course modules as assigned for team members and management, including presentation and facilitation of training programs and activities.
- Utilize a variety of teaching techniques such as direct instruction, role playing, simulation, team exercise, group discussion, video or hands-on exercises.
- Partner with all departments to identify and address opportunities for improvement and best practices/strategies to address training & development needs.
- Oversee and direct workshops as well as individual training sessions.
- Administer mandatory exams and records results.
- Maintain accurate training records.
- Ensure compliance by auditing training records regularly
- Work within set training budgets.
- Collect feedback and data to measure progress and effectiveness of training programs
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to adjust strategies as required to meet business needs

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related/relevant discipline
- Ability to develop and deliver programs for all levels of management and team members
- Deep knowledge of instructional design methodologies, performance strategies, processes and standards
- Impressive communication (speaking, reading and writing), presentation, and interpersonal skills
- A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a teaching/training role
- Solid knowledge of the latest corporate training techniques
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a global fast-paced environment
- Experience working with LMS and Performance Systems considered an asset
- Excellent verbal and written skills in both French and English

Relevant du directrice des ressources humaines, le formateur d'entreprise aidera nos employés à développer davantage leurs connaissances et leurs compétences dans des domaines tels que la formation au service à la clientèle, l'instruction et l'encadrement spécifiques à un rôle ou à un service. Responsabilités:

- Effectuer une évaluation des besoins interdépartementaux afin de déterminer les besoins en formation.
- Planifier, élaborer et mettre en œuvre un programme de formation efficace pour les nombreux services de Playground (élaborer le contenu, créer des présentations, etc.).
- Créer et maintenir des programmes d'apprentissage/de formation en ligne qui permettent d'obtenir des résultats commerciaux pour tous les secteurs d'activité, y compris le jeu, l'hôtel, F&B et la vente au détail.
- Travailler avec nos fournisseurs de formation externes pour élaborer des programmes de formation significatifs et spécifiques aux casinos (formation au service des clients, etc.).
- Travailler avec l'équipe de direction pour mettre en place un programme de formation afin d'encadrer et de guider nos managers dans les techniques de leadership et de gestion.
- Élaborer des manuels de formation, des procédures de formation et des supports de cours de formation.
- Mettre en œuvre les modules de cours de formation assignés aux membres de l'équipe et à la direction, y compris la présentation et l'animation de programmes et d'activités de formation.
