Bedford, Canada BRAE Transport Limited Full time

**Our Dispatchers are responsible for**:

- Communicating with customers, providing updates on freight and delivery times.
- Planning loads and driver schedules
- Dispatching drivers on designated routes
- Data entry into Dispatch Mate.
- Recruiting and onboarding of new drivers
- Assisting with driver’s daily logs (ELD)
- Scheduling maintenance on the fleet and providing PO#’s to vendors for the repairs.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years dispatch experience in the Canadian Transportation Industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Safety & Compliance Regulations
- Strong geographical knowledge of the Atlantic provinces
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Dispatch Mate, Geotab and/or other dispatch software.
- Problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to multi-task
- Reside in or around the HRM
- Own reliable transportation to work.
- Strong computer skills
