Production Dispatcher

**Job Summary**
- Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Dispatcher, you will coordinate and execute the timely flow of materials, subassemblies, and completed assemblies throughout the production process
**As a Production Dispatcher, your main responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)**:
- Read work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
- Ensure that production operations has the necessary orders, parts, etc. to keep production moving efficiently throughout the production process
- Maintenance of dispatch lists
- Monitor movement of kits from the stockroom to work cells and between work cells
- Effectively understand, communicate, and manage resolution of material and production issues that may jeopardize attainment of customer delivery or production plan objectives
**What you require to be successful in the role**:
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills (written & verbal)
- Self-motivated (works independently)
- Works effectively with teams and facilitates interaction
- Maintains positive working relationships with other team members
- Highly effective organization and planning skills
- Excellent time management skills and able to prioritize and meet work schedules
- Ability to manage multiple assignments
- Maintain forklift certification
- Highschool diploma or GED
- Good understanding of MRP systems
- Effective computer skills including Excel and Word
