**Warehouse Manager - Shipper/Receiver**
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the **Warehouse Manager** - Shipper/Receiver plays a lead role and is responsible for all day-to-day warehouse activities including shipment offloads/deconsolidation, order staging, customer pick up process (notifications & physical loading of goods); inventory tasks such as ongoing cycle counts, warehouse space optimization and other tasks as directed by the Manager.
This is a physically demanding role and will require daily use of non-motorized and motorized handling equipment to manage the continuous in/out movement of oversized items including appliances, furniture and fixtures for key accounts served. Attention to detail and ongoing attention to handling protocols to eliminate warehouse damages are key deliverables for this role.
- Leads assigned resources to complete timely offloading of inbound trailers (Full & Less than Truckload) containing oversized items using established household moving handling methods and is tasked with monitoring inbound schedules to plan daily dock operations
- Coordinates formal and informal cycle counts for Key Accounts, completes investigations and resolves issues as required with HD Logistics Coordinators as required
- Works closely work with and assists, as required, all duties associated with the Home Delivery Coordinator(s) as requested
- Assists in the cleaning & overall cleanliness of the warehouse area as part of the role; this includes periodic floor cleaning, garbage removal to exterior bins and cleaning of common areas
- Daily, organizes space by relocating items to optimize capacity and enhance product flow
- On a daily basis, conducts HD warehouse walk thru’s to identify products that are in disposition (not moving) and works with Logistics Coordinators to report and execute final movement of these items.
- Works to assist Senior Leadership to assess current processes, systems & work procedures and brings forward operational enhancements that further reduce costs or reduce work time while maintaining or increasing output.
- As required, assists the Senior Leadership in coordinating activities within other lines of business which could include assignments in Residential/Commercial operations or to support ongoing Special Logistics projects
- Advanced skills, familiarization and competence working with Logistics cloud-based software systems
- Proficient skills & knowledge in Operations methodologies
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel
- Experience working in a Logistics operation setting (transport, warehousing, special projects delivery)
- Ability to use material handling equipment (motorized & non-motorized) for completing daily tasks which include the movement of items in excess of 50lbs on a frequent basis.

Pay: $38,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
