**The Role** We are currently searching for an **Assistant** **Supervisor, Operations** reporting to the **Distribution Centre Manager**. This is a **Full-time Permanent **opportunity**.** **Location/Shifts**: Kitchener Cross Dock. Join us to continue to create a fun and genuine work culture that really feels like your second family **What You’ll Be Doing** - Supervise the day-to-day activities within a busy unionized Cross Dock environment - Training of new and existing employees and performance management - Ensure that customer service targets and goals are successfully met - Ensure the company’s Health and Safety, Operational and Budgetary efficiencies are met - Exemplify the Company’s dedication to customer service - Other responsibilities involve Inventory, Fleet and Warehouse Management, Quality Control, SOX and Audit compliance - To assist with balancing full goods inventory, empty inventories, and financial records. Maintaining accurate records of shipments received, return of full goods to brewers, ensuring correctness of information entered to the system - Administer the Human Resources functions of the office within the parameters of Company policy, including assisting with payroll administration, and lost time prevention - Perform other related duties and projects as assigned **Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience** - A post-secondary education - A minimum of 1 - 3 years of operations experience - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - The ability to make sound decisions in a timely fashion - Proven leadership ability to effectively manage the team of direct reports - Above average communication and interpersonal skills - A professional, courteous, and welcoming manner - both in person and on the telephone - Proficiency in MS Office programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point - Previous experience with SAP is considered an asset - Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety, Ministry of Transportation and WSIB regulations would be an asset - The availability to work different shifts is necessary to succeed in this role - The availability to work shifts 6am - 9pm Monday - Friday and occasional Saturdays is necessary to succeed in this role **Application Deadline: ASAP** **Equal Opportunity Employer** We are committed to providing a respectful and empowering workplace that values our greatest resource, our people.
