We are currently recruiting for an _**Operations Supervisor**_ in our commercial fuel division. This position will report to the Operations Manager - Petroleum Products.

You will be responsible for:

- Ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of liquid fuel products to our customers
- Providing frontline leadership, supervision, and support to our driving and operational team members
- Implementing and enforcing processes and procedures to maximize efficiencies
- Visiting and inspecting customer locations to facilitate and ensure the safe delivery of fuel
- Inspecting our commercial fuel cardlocks to ensure cleanliness, safety, and that our regulatory obligations are always met
- Providing backup for Dispatch personnel; taking and scheduling customer orders
- Scheduling maintenance activities and following up to ensure they are completed, as required
- Training new employees
- Troubleshooting in-cab software problems to ensure continuous operability
- Being part of the after-hours on-call group to ensure 24/7 coverage
- Minimum of Grade 12, with a post-secondary education in a business-related discipline preferred
- A DZ licence would be considered an asset
- Ability to commute to Kitchener within 30 minutes from your place of residence
- Minimum of 4 years experience in an operational supervisor role within the transportation industry
- Working knowledge of transportation equipment and their components
- Exceptional inter-personal, organizational, and time management skills
- Above-average computer acumen and the ability to quickly learn and navigate new software systems
- Experience and/or exposure in the aggregate, mining, or construction industries would be an asset
- Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
- An internal drive to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
- Ability to quickly analyze and interpret the needs of customers and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required
