Edmonton Montessori School is currently recruiting an passionate and professional childcare educator level 2 or 3 for our centre. Pay range will be $21-24 per hour for Level 2 and $24-28 per hour for Level 3. The role is to provide excellent care and quality programming and care to children and their families. This position may work with preschool and school aged children (3-12).

Participating and assisting children with crafts, special projects, indoor and outdoor play.
Supervising, accompanying and caring for children on scheduled field trips (Summer, Spring break, PD Days, Teachers Convention etc)
Planning and preparing indoor and outdoor activities.
Preparing and serving AM & PM snacks.
Picking up and dropping off children (to be determined upon hire)
Flexible in working different daytime hours.
Completing daily/weekly/monthly housekeeping duties.

Education/Experience/Certifications:
Early Childhood Development Level 2/3 or equivalent
Proof of Covid-19 vaccine status
Current Childcare First Aid & CPR
Current Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector
Minimum 2 year experience in day care/out of school environment.

**Experience**:

- day care/out of school care environment: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Current Childcare First Aid & CPR (required)
- Current Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector (required)
- Early childhood educator certification Level 2 or 3 (required)
