**Overview**

**Lafarge Canada Inc** is currently accepting resumes for a full-time hourly
- **Accounts Payable Administrator **position, this role is primarily responsible for supporting the local team with administrative and purchasing duties for the Saskatoon Area.**Responsibilities**:
**Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Accounts Payable- Creating purchase orders and requisitions.
- Verify accuracy of vendor accounts and review/correct any discrepancies.
- Ensure timely processing of all vendor invoices.
- Organize and maintain all documentation, both paper and electronic, related to vendors.
- Order office supplies in Ariba Online.
- Respond to vendor requests and reconcile key vendor accounts.
- Request vendor quotes as needed.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
- Health and Safety- Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environment areas. Promotes a positive safety culture through leadership by example.
- Ensures safe and healthy working conditions in sites under his/her responsibility.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety rules and country regulations.
- Relationship with Others- Reports directly to Controller.
- Collaborate with other AP/EM administrators and Operations personnel.
- Work with Procurement team on full-cycle AP process.

**Qualifications**:

- Education- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Experience- 2+ years experience with administrative background.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
- SAP skills are an asset, preferred but not required.
- Experience in construction/industrial environment is an asset.
- Skill Set- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Very good interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in prioritizing and processing multiple requests.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to take initiative.
