Flair Airlines is currently seeking a permanent, full-time **Electronic Flight Bag Administrator** to join our growing and ever-changing organization. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Flight Operations, this position will play a critical role in providing a wide variety of internal IT support services to Flight Operations. The EFB Administrator will be responsible for the management of Flair’s EFB by ensuring that any hardware conforms to the required specification and that no incompatible or unauthorized software is installed. The EFB administrator will also be responsible for supporting Flight Operations technology initiatives, mobile devices and will be required to work closely with the IT department to support Flight Operations IT requirements.

The role requires a team player that possesses superior communication; excellent interpersonal skills and is also a self-starter with both a strong sense of urgency and ability to find their own solutions to problems and work independently when needed. The Electronic Flight Bag Administrator will be based out of one of Edmonton, AB (YEG) or Toronto, ON (YYZ), or Vancouver, BC (YVR), and some travel may be required.

**Primary Job Functions**:
The duties of the **Electronic Flight Bag Administrator** include:

- Responsible for compliance with manufactures instructions, supplier guidelines, regulatory and STC requirements associated with EFB.
- Ensuring all software installed is compatible and no unauthorized software is installed on the EFB
- Control and tracking of Company EFB devices
- Control the stock of EFB devices to ensure sufficient devices are available to support ongoing recruitment and sufficient back up devices.
- Developing, administering and responding to an effective system of feedback on the performance of the EFB and any software installed.
- Responsible for accurate and reliable distribution of critical operational information to Flight Crew on Company EFB’s
- Checking of data and software content prior to load and release for operational use.
- Develop and establish procedures in an EFB Policy and Procedures Manual.
- Responsible for overseeing regular audits and quality checks.
- Responsible for controlling approval of payments associated with data communication charges and appropriate communications are available and compatible throughout the operational network.
- Review processes and procedures regularly to ensure continuous improvements to meet the changing needs of Flight Operations.
- Responsible for developing and delivery of effective and efficient training on EFB devices to Flight Operations personnel.
- Liaise closely with and provide all relevant information to the Information Technology department, Flight Operations, Maintenance, Dispatch and Inflight departments as required.
- Other duties as assigned from time to time

**Qualifications**:

- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of Airline Flight Operations, systems and processes
- Knowledge of applicable EFB requirements and regulations
- Good knowledge of Apple iPad and iOS
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot a variety of technical problems associated with computer hardware, peripheral equipment, associated operating systems and software
- A motivated individual with a high degree of professional and personal flexibility
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Maintain a high level of operational and technical knowledge necessary to meet the requirements of the role
- Previous EFB Administrator experience is an asset
- Knowledge of aircraft communication systems including ACARS, Wifi and LTE is an asset
- Experience in Project management and change management is desirable
- Clear criminal record check and satisfactory employment references.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada, be fluent in spoken/written English and hold and maintain a valid passport that allows for travel across the airline’s network.
- Ability to obtain and hold a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
