Custom Fire & Sprinkler Services Ltd. is currently seeking a detail-driven **Collections Administrator** to help manage customer accounts and support our financial operations.

This position plays a key role in ensuring steady cash flow by managing receivables and resolving overdue accounts. You’ll work closely with our customers to ensure accurate, timely payments—helping to support the ongoing safety work our technicians deliver in the field.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor accounts receivable and actively follow up on past-due invoices.
- Work with internal teams to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Establish payment plans when necessary and ensure terms are documented and followed.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all collections activity in our accounting software.
- Prepare weekly and monthly aging reports for management review.
- Support month-end closing activities related to AR.
- Collaborate with third-party agencies or legal resources on escalated accounts as needed.
- Ensure adherence to industry and company policies regarding collections.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or collections, preferably in the construction, contracting, or service industry.
- Familiarity with fire protection or construction industry billing practices (service tickets, inspections, job deposits, etc.) is a strong plus.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar); Microsoft Excel proficiency required.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
