**About The Role - Accounts Receivable Clerk (Maple Ridge BC)**
**What you will be doing**
- Review and approve invoices daily
- Upload invoices to customer portals
- Post incoming customer cheques, wire payments, and credit card transactions
- Process and reconcile customer advance deposits (multi-currency)
- Verify accuracy of new customer account setup
- Review accounts receivable and perform collection activities
- Prepare and send customer statements and payment reminders
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding account reconciliations
- Assist with daily bank reconciliations
- Communicate with the bank to resolve payment processing issues
- Assist with year-end audits
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, from idea generation to implementation
- Assist in developing internal controls and policies to ensure compliance with legislation and best practices
- Provide backup support for Accounts Payable functions, as needed
- Perform ad hoc tasks, reports, filing, and other activities as required by managementOther duties, as assigned
**What you will bring**
- 1-2 years of professional work experience in accounts receivable, collections, invoicing or a similar finance role, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes
- Proficiency in accounting software and ability to learn new software programs quickly; Epicor Kinetic or Microsoft Dynamics ERP experience is considered an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams and Word
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a teamExperience with multi-company organizations and/or inter-company transactions is considered an asset
**Role Dimensions**
- Full Time Salary position
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Vacation: 3 weeks accruedBenefits: eligible upon start date

**Compensation Range**
- Salary $50,000 - $60,000Eligible for annual short-term incentive plan
