**About Us**:
Prairie Meats is a busy food retailer, wholesaler and manufacturer that takes pride in delivering top-quality products to our customers. We’re looking for a Maintenance Manager to keep our equipment running smoothly and our team working efficiently in a safe and organized environment.

**Job Overview**:
We need a hands-on **Maintenance Manager** who can oversee maintenance operations for our retail stores, warehouse facilities and food production departments. This role is perfect for someone who knows how to lead a team, handle repairs, and stay organized while balancing time in the office and on the floor.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lead the Team**: Supervise and support a group of maintenance workers, keeping everyone on track and motivated. Manage timekeeping and absence management software for team.
- **Fix and Maintain Equipment**: Make sure production line machines, refrigeration units, conveyors, forklifts, and other equipment are working properly.
- **Plan Maintenance**: Create and stick to a maintenance schedule to prevent equipment from breaking down.
- **Ensure Safety**: Follow all food safety (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and workplace safety rules, and keep the facility in compliance with regulations.
- **Use Technology**: Proficiency with computer software (such as MS Office suite), PLC’s and maintenance software (CCMS) to track repairs, manage schedules, and organize parts inventory.
- **Work with Other Teams**: Collaborate with production, quality control, and warehouse teams to solve equipment problems and keep things running smoothly.
- **Manage Budgets**: Keep track of spending on repairs, spare parts, and tools.
- **Hands-On Help**: Be ready to step in and fix things alongside your team when needed.

**Must-Have Skills**:

- **Great with People**: Able to lead and communicate well with your team and other departments.
- **Mechanical Knowledge**: Understand how to repair and maintain production and warehouse equipment like packaging machines, refrigeration units, and forklifts.
- **Tech Savvy**: Comfortable using computers and software to manage tasks and schedules.
- **Flexible**: Able to handle both physical work on the floor and planning tasks in the office.
- **Team Leader**: Experienced in managing a team and keeping everyone focused and productive.
- **Availability**: Must be able to respond to situations in a timely manner. A Saskatoon residence is preferred.

**Nice-to-Have Skills**:

- Experience working in food production or warehouse facilities.
- Certifications in equipment maintenance, electrical, mechanical or refrigeration.
