Trinity Village prides itself on being a progressive, compassionate, Retirement Living community. The Studios is a 3-floor building with 66 resident rooms, common areas and rec rooms. Trinity Village Terraces is comprised of 60 Life Lease quality-built bungalow townhomes, ranging from 762 to 1407 sq. Ft., each with full basements.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Ensure safety of staff and residents by regularly maintaining equipment and furniture and by providing general upkeep to the physical grounds and its large systems
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents and guests in order to determine individual needs, resolve issues or concerns, and evaluate resident satisfaction.
- Follow a regular daily, weekly, monthly and yearly schedule of preventative maintenance activities to ensure the residence, home and equipment are safe and in good working order.
- Provide minor building, electrical, plumbing and equipment repair services to ensure the optimum functioning of the physical plant and equipment.
- Coordinate all non kitchen related deliveries.
- As per legislation, maintains all environmental records, logs, reports, policies, and procedures.
- Ensures positive contractor partnerships with like-minded work quality standards.

**Qualifications or Skills Required**:

- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to read and communicate effectively.
- Demonstrated empathy and understanding of the needs of seniors.
- Effective interpersonal relationship and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to organize work and work under strict time constraints.
- Must have a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Must be able to operate related equipment.
- All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada. As a condition of employment, a Criminal Record Search which may include a vulnerable sector screen, will be required.
- Familiarity with legislative requirements and guidelines of all applicable provincial codes, standards, and laws, including the Fire Code, OHS Act, WHMIS an asset.
- A highly developed sense of ethical behaviour and demonstrated integrity and professionalism.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
