We are currently recruiting for a General Labourer/Fuel Site Maintenance Attendant in our Transit Petroleum division. This person will play a pivotal role in the functioning and cleanliness of our commercial fuel gas stations, by ensuring site cleanliness each day and that our equipment is running safely and correctly. You will be a service-focused, hands-on individual, who will be continuously looking for ways to ensure our customer-experience is the best in the industry.

As the Fuel Site Maintenance Attendant, you will be responsible for:

- Attending and inspecting our commercial fuel gas stations each day
- Following and completing a daily/weekly/monthly checklist of duties
- Cleaning up any petroleum spills that have occurred
- Collecting and cleaning up garbage and debris
- Inspecting fuel nozzles and hoses for leaks and wear
- Cleaning all areas of the facility
- Conducting fuel tank dips and recording levels
- Troubleshooting errors and breakdowns
- Assisting Petroleum Mechanics with repairs and higher-level maintenance tasks
- Other duties as assigned when required
- Ability to work outdoors and drive in all four seasons
- Mechanically inclined with an inquisitive attitude
- Keen attention to detail with the internal drive to ensure a clean facility
- Follow and perform a checklist of duties each day
- Ability to troubleshoot computer and mechanical components would be an asset
- Ability to work without supervision
- Valid, full G Ontario Licence, with a clean abstract. A DZ licence would be an asset
- This is a physically demanding position, so you must have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, unassisted
- Exceptional inter-personal, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to communicate, read, and write in English

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
