**Sturgeon Creek ll Retirement Residence** has an opportunity for an experienced **Maintenance Director**to join our growing team Are you a dynamic team player who will take great pride in your role as a **Maintenance Director**?

Your main responsibilities will be overseeing our residence's preventative maintenance program and housekeeping department.

You would be responsible for the maintenance and repairs involving the building and the grounds, including the pool. You would manage all maintenance contracts. You would be responsible for leading the maintenance/housekeeping team. You are the contact for all our residents maintenance needs.

The successful applicant will have:

- Proven experience in the maintenance of equipment and building systems, including a basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, painting, drywall and safety systems.
- Ability to self-regulate and work independently.
- Ability to supervise staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Preventative maintenance
- Inspection and maintenance of facilities to maintain a safe and attractive environment
- Responding to emergency situations
- Maintaining an adequate inventory of day to day supplies.
