**Job Title: Team Lead Mover - Residential Moving and Packing**

**About Us**:Bright Future Brands is a woman-owned, local moving company located in Richmond, BC. As part of our expanding family of companies, we own 5 small, highly-ranked moving companies across Vancouver and the Greater Vancouver Area. Our services include residential relocation and specialty moving. We operate a fleet of 16ft, 1-tonne moving trucks, and provide our movers with a diverse and engaging workspace. At Bright Future Brands, we are proud to be an eco-friendly and sustainable moving service. We care about the planet, and our practices reflect our commitment to environmental responsibility. We optimize route planning to reduce driving time and emissions, minimize plastic waste, and recycle junk items whenever possible. Additionally, we plant 10 trees for every move to offset carbon emissions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead residential moving and packing projects, ensuring efficient and safe relocations.
- Organise and arrange team members on site to utilise their strengths most effectively.
- Drive moving trucks safely and defensively.
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture with precision.
- Perform truck loading to maximize space for optimal efficiency.
- Wrap furniture securely to prevent damage during transport, and oversee team to ensure their wrapping is up to standard.
- Visualize and execute the movement of large items in challenging spaces.
- Provide coaching and guidance to team members.
- Maintain clear and friendly communication with clients and the team.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 year of moving experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Handy with tools and skilled in furniture disassembly/reassembly.
- Experience in or willingness to learn packing services.
- Excellent packing and truck-loading skills.
- Ability to visualize moving large items in tricky spaces.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Athletic and physically strong.
- Outgoing, friendly, and effective communication skills.
