We are looking for a **Machine Operator** to join our team

The **Machine Operator** will be responsible to set up, maintain, and operate machinery. They will ensure the machinery runs smoothly, works at capacity without issues, and is appropriately maintained on schedule. The Machine Operator’s duties and responsibilities dictate the safety and efficiency of everyone around them, they must remain focused and diligent in performing their task correctly and with care.

**What you will do**:

- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle.
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed).
- Feed raw material semi-automated Feeders.
- Test operation of machines periodically.
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift.
- Product Inspection to determine any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
- Maintain activity logs.
- Conduct prescribed Preventative maintenance.
- Maintain the equipment so it operates safely.
- Report Safety Hazards within the work environment.

**What you have**:

- Proven Experience as a Packaging Machine Operator.
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed friction feeders.
- High school Diploma or equivalent; technical degree an asset.

- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., Constant use of protective gear).
- Analytical Skills.
- Attention to Detail.
- Strong Teamwork and Communication skills.
- Physical Stamina and strength - ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.50 per hour
