**Overview**:The Machine Operator will be carrying out activities to make our juices and Plant Based milks. The Machine Operator will operate and maintain various equipment used in the production of juice/milk products, ensuring that they are functioning efficiently and producing high-quality products. The Machine Operator will work in a fast-paced environment, must be able to adapt to changing conditions as necessary and be able to work on Morning/Afternoon/Night shifts.

**Statement of Work & Responsibilities**:

- Operate a high speed production line, up to 10,000 bottles per hour and maintain equipment used in juice production, including but not limited to: filling machines, packaging machines, blending machines, and juicing machines.
- Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and producing high-quality products.
- Monitor production processes to ensure that products are being produced at the desired rate and that quality standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Keep accurate records of production runs and equipment changeover.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure that all safety procedures are followed.
- Maintain the GMP condition of the line as well as a clean and organized work area.
- Held accountable for food safety and regulatory responsibilities related to this position by following Food Safety and Quality procedures.
- Understand the food safety risks related to scope of work within the manufacturing process. as well as empowered to escalate food safety issues to leadership and resolve food safety issues within this scope of work.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working with equipment in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
- Work in a cold / wet environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions as necessary.
- Must have attention to detail and follow prescribed production methods.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use manufacturing software.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 20 kgs and stand for long periods of time.
